For the accuracy of diagnosis, it is important not to consume food and drinks three hours before the consultation. You should only have water.

What to expect from an Ayurvedic Consultation?

An Ayurvedic consultation is a 1:1 appointment with an ayurvedic Vaidya, an expert in the field of holistic ayurvedic health.

This appointment is individual and personalised, and based on your health goals and needs.

Nadi Pariksha

Nadi Pariksha or pulse diagnosis reads the pulse rate at different levels of the radial artery. Every organ or tissue in the body has its own unique vibrational signature that carries information about its state of functioning. So when the pulse is checked, it reveals your physical and mental state. An Ayurvedic Vaidya can determine in which of the systems or organs in the body there is an imbalance and prescribe specific guidelines to overcome it.

Identifying your unique constitution

Ayurveda says that we are made up of the five elements - water, air, earth, fire and space, in different proportions, which determines our constitution and from there - our physical, mental and emotional dispositions. Through pulse diagnosis, the Vaidya will determine firstly your constitution (prakriti) of the body-mind complex that you have at birth - Vata, Pitta, Kapha. Secondly - whether you have any imbalance in the body (vikruti) that leads to complaints or illnesses.

Why is Ayurveda different?

Ayurvedic science aims to prevent illness—rather than respond to disease—by maintaining a balance between your body, mind, and environment. This balance is achieved by looking into nutrition, physical fitness, state of mind and environmental influences.
  • Naturally boosting your immune system
Our immune system is under constant attack caused by stress, anxiety, poor eating habits, weak digestion, etc. Ayurveda has ways of making your immunity strong and resilient to these factors.
  • Mental health and personalised wellness techniques
Yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation are just a few ways of regaining mental balance, along with implementing healthy daily routines.
  • Natural and holistic approach
Herbal preparations, oils, personalised diet plan, healthy habits. Ayurveda helps you take care of yourself and enjoy the benefits of natural remedies on your mind, body and spirit.
  • Reducing symptoms or side effects
Some medical treatments and medicines often yield side effects. In Ayurvedic treatments, all the remedies are naturally made with natural ingredients that don’t cause devastating effects on your health.
  • Preventive
You don’t have to be sick to take the ayurvedic path. A healthy person can display imbalances that can later lead to disease. By pinpointing current imbalances and bringing them into alignment, we reduce the chance of disease happening.
  • Adapted to your lifestyle, goals and needs
Like our fingerprints, we are all unique. Therefore, the ayurvedic treatment is completely in sync with your personal health goals and abilities.
"Health is not just the absence of disease, health is being established in your Self. Health is the dynamic expression of life!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 20 minutes enough for the consultation?
An Ayurvedic consultation with Ayurvedic Vaidya lasts for 20 minutes, which is sufficient to determine the patient's constitution (prakriti), temporary imbalance (vikruti), if any, and determine an individual regimen and program for the patient, which is given to the patient in the form of consultation sheets. After the consultation with Vaidya, there is a further explanatory talk to the patient with Vaidya's assistant, who further explains and explains the doctor's prescriptions to make sure the patient understands everything.
For which diseases is Ayurvedic consultation recommended?
To have an Ayurvedic consultation, there is no limit to the patient's ailments or complaints. Ayurveda is the first and most comprehensive science of human health and, although its approach is holistic and natural, which may sometimes take longer to treat a problem, it addresses all kinds of ailments. Ayurvedic consultation can help with a variety of complaints, but it is not limited to people with illnesses. On the contrary, an Ayurvedic consultation will be useful for anyone who would like to know more about their body, and anyone who strives for perfect health, harmony with oneself and happiness.
Are there contraindications and side effects of Ayurvedic treatment?
Ayurvedic guidelines include very basic recommendations about the type of foods to eat and not to eat, to take certain herbs and to incorporate certain lifestyle habits. And none of these would conflict with any type of treatment, be it modern medicine or homeopathy.
At what time period is it good to have an Ayurvedic consultation?
We recommend a person to have an Ayurvedic consultation once every season, that is, every 3 months, until he himself begins to know his body well and the language it speaks to us. Basically, with the change of seasons, various changes occur in our doshas and it is important to know what seasonal measures to take to keep the mind-body complex in balance.
