According to Ayurveda, Punarnava means rejuvenation. Punarnava Tablets are an ayurvedic preparation in tablet format. Commonly known as Hogweed, Sterling, Tarvine in English, Mukarati Kirei in Tamil, Raktakunda, and Shothaghni in Sanskrit, it goes by the botanical name Boerhavia diffusa.
