It all started with a question: what is health?
5,000 years ago the search for the answer to life's most important question - what is health? marked the beginning of the oldest science of life and the glorious tradition of holistic health care. Recognised by WHO (World Health Organisation) as the oldest healthcare system in the world, Ayurveda was the first science to define the nature of life and the dimensions of health beyond the physical level.
The word for health in Ayurveda is ‘swastha’, which means ‘to be established in the self’ - an alignment of body, mind and spirit. Although Ayurveda has its roots in India, its knowledge is relevant for every human being on the planet, and it is making its way to a growing worldwide public/from East to West/is being recognised more and more worldwide.
